I'm trying to cut down on meat but firmly believe that if you are going to kill an animal then you shouldn't waste any of it. It does help that I actually quite like the taste.just Gaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17410006899511613020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5614377841902606532.post-77355882959721778812016-06-06T21:25:57.201+01:002016-06-06T21:25:57.201+01:00I'd recommend Simon Hopkinson. His Roast Chicken and Other Stories is a classic, one of those delightful books where every recipe comes with a story.just Gaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17410006899511613020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5614377841902606532.post-78467983351438702302016-06-06T07:33:05.893+01:002016-06-06T07:33:05.893+01:00Sounds like a book full of interesting recipes Gai...Sounds like a book full of interesting recipes Gai!I have never made pilaf, or cooked offal, so these were lovely to hear about. Next month's book sounds a great choice, I look forward to reading about your creations! I know of Simon Hopkinson but don't own any of his books. I like the sound of the pilaf, and tend to agree that it can be even nicer than risotto. Liver would not be top of my list to cook, as a vegetarian, even though I do cook meat for my family, though I must confess that I remember enjoying eating liver when I was a child! Look forward to your book and recipes next month XPennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03174324346613155013noreply@blogger.com
