This Too Shall Pass

I've been away, but I'm back

The last few weeks have been plagued with self doubt.  Prompted by age, work, the prospect of an empty next,  money etc I struggled to see the very many positives in my life.  I felt I had nothing to say and other people's blogs, instead of providing much needed inspiration, only made me feel even more inadequate.

However there is light at the end of the tunnel and I'm moving slowly and steadily towards it.

Daffodils help!

  4. I think we all feel like that sometimes. Meeting other bloggers helps - you realise that all the perfect homes and families are very highly edited blog versions! Think lots of us are guilty of that.

    1. Yes. Meeting fellow bloggers would be helpful. I'm envious of the gatherings I've read about. I'm sure there are enough of us in Bristol to organise a get together over a cuppa and a slice or two of cake!

    1. Hi Jo. And welcome to my blog. I've been having a wee read of yours. I'm strangely drawn to Glaswegian bloggers. They make me feel closer to my daughter who's at university there.

  7. Daffodils always help.

I often get that blog inadequate feeling. Often. Writing every day this year has helped. I am too busy with my next post to worry about who's reading or why, or how it compares.

Lovely to be introduced to your blog.

    1. And me to yours.

It's interesting to hear that the discipline of a daily post helps. I'm already feeling the benefit of this one.
