@ Gillian: Our group began as a women-only affair but we were persuaded to allow a couple of husbands to join, which raised the tone of the discussion and lowered the consumption of alcohol. Is there are link there?We usually holiday in Cornwall but my elder daughter has persuaded us to explore our native land. I'm hoping for sunshine but will be prepared for rain (and midges?).
